After graduating with a Science Degree in Biophysics / Instrumental Science, Teanau Roebuck has worked in hospitals in the field of Physiological measurement. The majority of her working life overseeing the workings of a Clinical Sleep Laboratory with involvement in various research projects. The Sleep Service at the Alfred provides full polysomnography as well as oximetry at home and in the ward. She has presented on several occasions at the ASM, both in Plenary sessions and presenting results of research studies, with a particular interest in the area of oximetry quality assurance. She is co author of the article ‘Clinical use of pulse oximetry: Official guidelines from the TSANZ’ Pretto J, Roebuck T, Beckert L, Hamilton G.
